Joni

Veterinary Technician

Joni has worked at Heights Veterinary Clinic since September of 2002. She is HVC’s technician team leader. She has been a technician for over 30 years and is a dental procedure guru. Known as “mother” by the staff she is who the team leans on for any problems or questions that may arise. Joni is the proud MoM of a United States Marine. She also has two four-legged children named Clover and Madison.

Larry

Veterinary Technician

Larry has been with us since June 2001. He started working in the kennel, caring for the animals and then moved to assisting the doctors as a veterinary technician. He was born and raised in the Heights area. He owns one dog, Wilbur, a very unique looking Corgi / Pitbull mix, and is a proud father of 2 girls, Ava and Vivian. He is probably the biggest Rockets fan you will ever meet, and is still strangely obsessed with the Ninja Turtles.

Cassie

Veterinary Technician

Cassie started with HVC in 2016 after completing her externship here and graduating from the Vet Tech Institute of Houston with a Veterinary Technician Associates. Cassie has developed her technician skills here at HVC in all areas of patient care, but her true passion is surgery. She is often found in the surgery building assisting the Veterinarian to ensure that our patients receive the best care possible.

Jose

Veterinary Technician

Jose started at HVC in the beginning of 2018. He earned his CVA Lvl 1 certification in 2017 and has continued to learn and develop his skills as a veterinary assistant. Along with his career serving as a veterinary assistant, Jose has enjoyed volunteering his time at the BARC animal shelter and Houston SPCA since 2012. He is passionate about being the best veterinary technician that he can be and takes every chance that he can to educate himself and help his fellow team members.

Victoria

Veterinary Technician

Victoria ( aka Tori ) joined our team in June of 2018. Tori is one of our veterinary technician assistants with a little over a year’s experience in the animal care industry. Her positive attitude and drive to care for every patient and client that she comes in contact with to the best of her ability is admirable. She plans to continue her education in this field and one day obtain her LVT License.

Jordan

Veterinary Technician

Jordan joined our team in September of 2018. She came to HVC with experience in wellness only care and has enjoyed learning how to practice elevated medicine and performing diagnostic procedures. She has grown very close to our clinic cat Mikey, the handsome cat she is holding in her picture. She enjoys taking Mikey on walks around the clinic and providing him with additional enrichment. Jordan studied Animal Science at SFA State University knowing that she wanted to work with animals as her career choice.

Ashley

Veterinary Technician

Ashley is one of our newest additions and joined our team in August 2019. She has over 17 years of experience as a veterinary technician. Even with her many years of experience, she knows that there is always more to learn and a different technique to try. She has a full house at home with 5 cats and 1 dog to keep her busy even when she is not working. We are very excited she has decided to join our team and provide our patients with exceptional care.

Lauren

Veterinary Technician

Lauren is one of several technicians here with an interest in exotics. She has over 5 years of experience working with exotic pets and wildlife rehabilitation. To say that Lauren loves birds, especially her own, would be an understatement. Lauren graduated in 2013 with a B.S. in Marine and Freshwater Biology.

Kimberly

Veterinary Technician

Bio coming soon…

Ciarra

Veterinary Technician

Ciarra spent the summer with us working through her school externship program. Ciarra blew us away with her go-get-em attitude and aptitude for learning. She officially joined our team in August of 2019. She has quickly become a vital part of the HVC family and we are excited to watch her grow as we help her build upon her technician skill set.
