Prescription Policy Update

We’d like to take a moment to share an important update to our prescription policy. Beginning May 1, 2022, we will no longer be able to approve prescriptions requested by any external online pharmacies, such as Chewy.com or 1-800-PetMeds. As an alternative, we’d like to invite you to purchase your pet’s prescription food and medication directly through our hospital’s online pharmacy.

Our online pharmacy offers the same convenience and value of larger online retailers but allows our team to better service your pet’s medical records and helps support our practice. Most importantly, by processing prescriptions through our online pharmacy we are able to guarantee the medical integrity of the products sold vs those sold on e-commerce sites.

Should you wish to continue to use an external pharmacy for future prescriptions, our team will be happy to provide you with a written prescription that you can pick up at your convenience.
