We offer a two-week externship program for current veterinary students looking to meet graduation requirements or build your veterinary medicine knowledge. Our program is dedicated to contributing to your practice-readiness and to help you hit the ground running after graduation.
What to expect?
You can expect real-world experience working at a multi-doctor practice. We offer full-service care for companion animals and exotics. If you are looking for more hands on experience in dentistry and dental radiographs, we average 10 dental cleanings a week. You will have the opportunity to work side by side or under the direct supervision of one of our doctors. A large portion of our patient care is dedicated to non-wellness and emergency. We are a high volume practice that offers students the opportunity to observe and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of challenging cases.
Externship Requirements
Open to third-year or fourth-year veterinary student enrolled in an accredited DVM program. We will consider first-year and second-year vet students, but priority will be given to fourth year students.
